Privacy policy

Just Affirmations? is a free app for your own words, widgets and optional reminders. No purchases. No ads. No tracking.

Your information stays on your device

The app does not require an account, send your affirmations to the developer, contact an app server, or include analytics or advertising services. The app and its widget extension do not make network requests. There is no iCloud synchronization service in the app.

Your affirmation text, group names, widget sets and reminder settings are stored locally in a shared App Group container so the app and its widgets can use the same saved library. The developer cannot read this library remotely.

Widgets and optional reminders

Widgets can show your affirmation text on the Home Screen and Lock Screen. If you enable reminders and allow notifications, the app gives iOS the text and schedule for upcoming local notifications. Notification Center, Lock Screen previews and widgets can expose that text to anyone who can see your screen. You control notification permission, previews and Focus through iOS Settings, and can remove installed widgets.

Deleting information

You can delete individual affirmations or groups in the app. Deleting a group also removes its saved widget sets. Disabling reminders or deleting a group removes its future queued reminders after a successful queue refresh. If the app reports that reminders need retry, use Retry or Refresh reminder queue to complete that change. Previously delivered notifications can remain in Notification Center until you clear them. Remove installed widgets separately.

Removing the app can remove local app data, but does not guarantee that all shared App Group data, widget content, delivered notifications or system backups disappear immediately. iOS controls retention and backups. Offloading an app preserves its documents and data. Copies in device backups or other system history may remain under Apple's settings and retention policies. The app has no remote account or developer-held affirmation library to delete.

External privacy and support links

Opening a website from the app happens only when you tap an external link. The public privacy and support pages are hosted by GitHub Pages. GitHub may process connection information such as your IP address, browser information and service logs under its own privacy policy. These pages contain no analytics, collection forms, third-party scripts or external fonts.

Support uses GitHub Issues. Posting is voluntary and may require a GitHub account. Public issues, including text, screenshots and other details you submit, can be read by others. Do not post private affirmations, account credentials or identifying information.
