Your words

Open Groups, create a group, then add your affirmations. Tap an affirmation to edit it. Tap Edit in the group to reorder or delete affirmations. Widgets and reminders follow this order, then begin again.

Add a widget

In Widgets, create a widget set and choose a group, color and interval.

  1. On the Home Screen, hold an empty area, then choose Edit → Add Widget (or +).
  2. Find Just Affirmations?, choose a size and add it.
  3. Hold the placed widget, choose Edit Widget, and select your saved set.

For the Lock Screen, hold the screen, choose Customize → Lock Screen, tap a widget area, and choose the app. Tap the placed widget to select its set, then tap Done. Rectangular widgets show more words; smaller styles may shorten long affirmations. Tap a widget to open the full text.

If a widget hasn't changed

Check that the selected set points to a group with affirmations. Rotation details in the app shows the saved schedule and next rotation time. iOS controls visible widget refresh and may delay changes; that screen does not read the widget's actual display. After editing the set, check the installed widget's selected set again.

Set up reminders

In Reminders, choose a group, turn on Remind me, then select daily times or an interval within waking hours. Save and allow notifications when prompted. If permission was denied, use Open Settings in the app to review notification permission.

If reminders do not appear

Check that the group contains affirmations and reminders are enabled. Check notification permission, Focus and preview settings in iOS. The Reminders screen shows actual queued coverage and the next unqueued time. Up to 60 upcoming reminders are queued across all enabled groups; faster schedules and more groups shorten coverage. Open the app before the next gap, and after changing time zones. Use Refresh reminder queue or Retry if shown. Background refill is best effort and cannot guarantee an unlimited supply while the app stays unopened.

If your library won't open or save

Use Retry and retain your editor text when a save fails. The app preserves unreadable or newer-format storage rather than replacing it. Do not delete the app if you need to preserve that library. Report the error message, app version/build from About & Privacy, and your iOS version. Avoid posting your library or private affirmations.

Privacy and deletion

Delete individual affirmations or groups in the app. Remove installed widgets and clear delivered notifications separately. System backups and other retained copies are controlled by iOS. Read the privacy policy for details.
